Just finished reading The Dressmaker…such a great book with so much information about the situation in Afghanistan. Thanks for telling the story, gives me hope for tomorrow. Kamila’s story needs to be told on CNN…an inspiration for all person’s today! Thanks again. I was able to find the book in our small town libary. I will recommend it.

I got my first copy (others for friends are ordered and on their way) at barnes and noble on Monday afternoon and read the intro in the parking lot…I am now about half way into this treasure and the strength of Kamila and her family are pulsing through the words and lines. Wonderfully written Gayle, and what an ideal book for Women’s History Month which I believe it is…can’t wait for another chapter …thanks for the insight…julie
